Emsland-Aller Aqua - a new name in feed

The biggest potato starch producer in Germany, Emsland-Stärke GmbH and Danish aquafeed producer, Aller Aqua Technology Aps., has founded a new company: Emsland-Aller Aqua GmbH

Emsland-Aller Aqua GmbH will develop and produce protein applications for the fish feed market as well as for use in other feed types.

The company also has plans to invest in a production of fish feed in Germany, to create a stronger platform for a market expansion.

Emsland-Aller Aqua GmbH will be situated in Golssen close to Berlin in Germany, where construction work for the factories has already started.

Emsland-Aller Aqua GmbH also announced that as of 1st December, it has taken over the full majority of the Märka Kraftfutter fish feed factory in Beeskow, Germany.

"This take over is in line with our strategy of becoming the market leader in the German fish feed market. We will by the takeover combine the market knowledge of Beeskow and the more than 40 years of experience from the Aller Group in Denmark who is among the largest producers in high-quality fish feed", the company announced.

Mr. Wilfried Lehmann, will continue as Manager/”Betriebsleiter” in the factory.
