The 2nd European Tuna Conference will take place on April 27, 2009 in Brussels, Belgium, just one day before the world's largest seafood show, European Seafood Exposition.

Organized by Atuna.com, in cooperation with INFOFISH, The European Tuna Conference 2009 will bring together leading raw material suppliers, fishing companies, tuna processors, brands, distributors and traders, as well as retailers and bankers to debate and discuss the challenges and opportunities within the tuna industry.

The conference is aimed at the tuna professionals who deal with the production, packing, import/export, marketing and distribution of fresh, frozen and canned tuna to and within the European Market.

Speakers will present the latest issues in the tuna industry. The program is divided in five topics, with the following presentations:

In addition, the European Tuna Awards 2009 ceremony for the following categories will be held during the Conference: “Most Innovative Tuna Product”, “Best Quality Tuna Product” and “Best Tuna TV Commercial”. All European tuna processing, marketing, distribution companies and supermarkets are invited to submit their tuna product for the competition.

The registration rate is EUR 395 (+VAT).

The fee includes one full day conference at the Sheraton Brussels Hotel, with coffee & refreshment breaks, as well as a midday business luncheon and an evening network cocktail party. The delegate’s will receive a Conference Kit with full documentation, as well as a CD-rom containing all the conference papers.
