Going to Aqua Nor? Think - Aquaculture Tours by ACG

Aqua Nor 2009, in Trondheim Norway, is fast approaching (18-21 August) and preparations for our aquaculture tours in conjunction with this event are coming along very well.

“If you are planning to go to Aqua Nor, why not consider spending a few days with us touring various R&D and production facilities,” said Tor-Eddie Fossbakk, ACG Senior Consultant. “Knowing how intense Aqua Nor can be, our tours will give you an opportunity to relax and recover from your information overload.” By not heading back to the office right away, you will be able to digest most of what you were exposed to at the trade show, as well as see technology in action and ask questions of people working directly in the field.

This year also marks the 30th anniversary of the trade show and to celebrate the Nor-Fishing Foundation is organizing a conference in collaboration with the International Salmon Farmers Association (ISFA) on Thursday 20th August 2009. See details and the conference agenda.

Aqua Nor is a great event for the aquaculture community and an opportunity to network until you drop. There are numerous events, both public and private, that are scheduled around the show. “One of the unexpected pleasures is meeting someone, who knows someone, who can get you into some of these events where you will meet new contacts, and possibly even new friends,” said Dave Conley, ACG Senior Consultant. “We know this from experience!” And we provide our tour participants with these opportunities. We will also facilitate B2B meetings if desired.

ACG is organizing a full week of activities in and around the Aqua Nor trade show followed by three optional tours to enhance learning and business networking opportunities by visiting a wide variety of production, research and development, academic and government facilities showcasing Norwegian science & technology.

The tour starts in Trondheim with 3-4 days at Aqua Nor followed by optional 2-4 days of aquaculture site visits/meetings:
? Option #1 – Trondheim and surrounding region
? Option #2 - The Lofoten Islands and Tromsø
? Option #3 - Bergen and/or Stavanger and surrounding region

ACG requests interested tour participants to book their place on the tour by July 18th.
