For more than 150 years, ROTEX EUROPE has been a leading pioneer in the development of screening equipment and technology, providing innovative solutions for the process industries, especially in agribusiness.

Rotex screeners are widely used in the animal feed industries. These screeners have a long proven efficiency, ranging in application from meat meal screening and fine removal to separation of pellets, crumbles, cubes and other animal feeds according to particle size.

Separation of Animal Feeds according to Particle Size
Rotex Screeners ensure fast and accurate separations of pellets, crumbles, cubes and other animal feeds according to particle size.

These screeners have a long proven efficiency for fine removal on a single-surface machine and separation of both pellets and crumbles on two-surface or three-surface models.

The single-surface Rotex screener is used principally for removal of fines from pellets or cubes whilst the two-surface Rotex screener is most used for separating fines from either pellets or crumbles. Pellets pass over the top surface, through which fines are removed. Without a change in screen mesh, crumbles pass through the top surface and over the bottom screen, which is one millimetre minimum for fines removal. The three-surface Rotex screener is for multi-purpose screening. Without changing screens, cubes as well as pellets and crumbles can be screened. Cubes pass over the top surface, through which fines are removed. The middle and the bottom screen surfaces are employed for crumbles and pellets as in a two-surface machine. Another method is to utilize the top surface for fines removal from the pellets, with the middle and the bottom screen surfaces producing two different grades of crumbles.

Several models of Rotex Screeners are available, achieving capacities from 5 to 45 TPH for fine removal and from 5 to 65 TPH for separation of pellets and crumbles.

All Rotex models use the unique gyratory screening motion, which provides sharp, well-defined separations without deterioration of pellets and crumbles.

Recently, Rotex Europe has initiated a new conversion program to enhance its commitment to such industries where petfood and animal feed are being processed, by offering cost-effective upgrades on its traditional screeners equipped with wooden frames in order to meet new health & safety regulations. These, indeed, require all parts in contact with material to be replaced with metal. This cost-effective alternative is offering  numerous advantages in terms of operational efficiency, greatly simplifying maintenance, and reducing downtime.

In addition to the Rotex and Megatex Screeners, Rotex Europe also offers a complete range of electromagnetic feeders and Direct Drive feeders and conveyors.
