Zeigler Bros. is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to lead sales of its shrimp feeds and feed technologies in Mexico, Central America, and parts of South America.

Requirements:

  • At least ten years of experience in sales or technical support within shrimp hatchery and nursery production systems
  • An established industry network and peer relationships with leading hatchery production managers and owners
  • Highly effective communication with a diverse range of clients (including public speaking)
  • Ability to effectively comprehend and communicate shrimp culture techniques
  • Effective critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Fluency in Spanish and English
  • Ability to travel throughout the Americas
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in biology, aquaculture agri-science, or international business

Responsibilities:

  • Generate sales growth of aquaculture feeds for Latin America, with emphasis on shrimp hatchery and nursery feeds
  • Establish regular visits and contact with key clients and distributors to build trust and understanding of highest value needs
  • Effectively communicate and present proof of product value and performance
  • Manage and monitor customer field trial programs in support of sales strategies
  • Execute product introductions via trials, technical systems, and product support
  • Guide decisions on trade and regulatory issues to expand and maintain access to international markets
  • Manage and train highly effective sales and technical support teams
