Zeigler Bros. is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to lead sales of its shrimp feeds and feed technologies in Mexico, Central America, and parts of South America.
Requirements:
- At least ten years of experience in sales or technical support within shrimp hatchery and nursery production systems
- An established industry network and peer relationships with leading hatchery production managers and owners
- Highly effective communication with a diverse range of clients (including public speaking)
- Ability to effectively comprehend and communicate shrimp culture techniques
- Effective critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Fluency in Spanish and English
- Ability to travel throughout the Americas
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in biology, aquaculture agri-science, or international business
Responsibilities:
- Generate sales growth of aquaculture feeds for Latin America, with emphasis on shrimp hatchery and nursery feeds
- Establish regular visits and contact with key clients and distributors to build trust and understanding of highest value needs
- Effectively communicate and present proof of product value and performance
- Manage and monitor customer field trial programs in support of sales strategies
- Execute product introductions via trials, technical systems, and product support
- Guide decisions on trade and regulatory issues to expand and maintain access to international markets
- Manage and train highly effective sales and technical support teams
