The Asian Insect Industry & Research Forum unveils conference program

The annual event brings together industry experts, researchers, and other stakeholders to discuss the latest developments in insect-based food and feed production.

The Asian Insect Industry & Research Forum (AII&RF) is an annual event hosted by the Asian Insect as Food and Feed Association (AFFIA) and is Asia's premier event for the insect sector. The annual conference brings together industry experts, researchers, and other stakeholders to discuss the latest developments in insect-based food and feed production, and showcases all of the sector's new products, services and innovations.

From networking opportunities to an exhibition showcasing insect products and services to tasting insects, it will be an interactive experience and an opportunity to meet other industry players, share feedback and knowledge and grow the network. This event is open to anyone who is actively involved in the insect industry such as food and feed and more.

The conference is themed broadly into five topics, each looked at through the lens of both insects-for-food and insects-for-feed.

On the last afternoon, in-person participants will be offered the possibility to visit three research facilities on Kasetsart University Campus: KU Black Soldier Fly Farm, KU Edible Cricket Lab and KU Fish​ Feed​ Technology​ Development​ Center​.

The conference will be also available online (Zoom) for those who cannot join in Bangkok.
