BAP Auditor and Industry Observer Training in September

The Best Aquaculture Practices Division (BAP) of the Global Aquaculture Alliance (GAA) is running a course for new auditor candidates and returning auditors requiring refresher training, in Guayaquil, Ecuador, in September.

The Best Aquaculture Practices Division (BAP) of the Global Aquaculture Alliance (GAA) is running a course for new auditor candidates and returning auditors requiring refresher training, in Guayaquil, Ecuador, from 27 September to 3 October 2015.

The course is also open to industry observers including government officials, producers and other industry stakeholders, who wish to learn more about BAP standards and the auditing process.

The course will cover all the BAP standards:

Seafood Processing Plant Standard (Issue 4 – NEW)
Finfish and Crustacean Farm Standard (includes land-based aquaculture systems: ponds and fresh/brackish water cage farms and also marine cage farms)
Salmon Farm Standard (Revision 2 – NEW)
Mussel Farm Standard
Feed Mill Standard
Finfish, Crustacean and Mollusc Hatchery/Nursery Standard (all species)

The registration deadline is 11 September, 2015.
