CVM Adds Aquafrin to MUMS Designated List

The U.S. Food & Drug Administration Center for Veterinary Medicine's (CVM)  has added lauryl methyl pyrifrin (Aquafrin) to the Minor Use/Minor Species (MUMS) Drug Designation List. Aquafrin, from Frontier Scientific, Inc., Logan, UT, is a product for immersion of freshwater-reared salmonids for control of mortality due to saprolegniasis associated with fungi in the family Saprolegniaceae. 

This product has not yet been approved for sale or marketing.
