Guangdong Haid Group plans international expansion

The group plans to expand internationally with 13 projects in 5 years with an investment of $350 million.

Guangdong Haid Group recently announced at the 2019 Global Aquaculture Conference its plans to expand internationally with 13 projects in 5 years with an investment of $350 million.

The company said that the pace of overseas deployment of Haida Group is accelerating. According to the 2018 company’s report, the group has set up more than 30 subsidiaries in Vietnam, India, Indonesia, Ecuador, USA, Singapore and other countries with a total investment of $240 million.

Southeast Asia is the market where Haida Group is building new factories and Vietnam is their first stop. The company built new feed facilities for both fish and shrimp and has also entered into production management with Haixingong Group, a subsidiary company that focus on shrimp breeding, R&D and production with a breeding center.
