1st National Coldwater Fishes Confrence - Tonekabon, Iran
1st National Coldwater Fishes Confrence will be held by Coldwater Fishes Research Center (CFRC) as organizer with collaboration of Contemporary Conference Organizers (CCO) as co-organizer and with full support of Center of Network of Aquaculture Centers in Asia Pacific (NACA), Iran Fisheries Organization, Iran Veterinary Organization, Veterinary Council I. R. Iran and Faculty of Veterinary Medicine-University of Tehran, May 12-13, 2009, in Tonekabon, Iran.
Tonekabon is a city in Mazandaran province, Iran, on the shore of the Caspian Sea, formerly known as Shahsavar. The city is situated 250 kilometers north of Tehran. Tonekabon has a Semi tropical climate. The temperature is mild all the year, so it has suitable climate situation for cold water fishes requirements.
This Conference will focus on Caspian trout, Rainbow trout and Iranian Coldwater Fishes.
Aquaculture, Genetics, Health & Diseases, Biology and Stocks Management, Nutrition & Live Foods, Aquatic Engineering and New Technology, Environmental Considerations and Socio-Economic aspects are main subjects of sessions.
"International Fisheries, Aquaculture and Marine Product Exhibition" will be held at the same venue.
