The American Feed Industry Association has opened registration for its fall online feed manufacturing course, conducted in partnership with Kansas State University. The course will be held from August 26 to October 14.
Organized by the Aquaculture UK team, the Aquaculture Awards 2019 recognize the achievements in different elements of the sector and give due recognition to those making an exceptional contribution to the industry, now and in the future.
The 9th Aquaculture Roundtable Series (TARS®) 2019 will focus on the development of a sustainable aquafeed industry. Participants will identify areas of concern and solutions in feed production for marine shrimp, freshwater fish and marine fish.
Aquaculture SPACE will feature two conferences on Tuesday, September 10. The first half-day is organized in partnership with Aquafeed.com: Aquaculture Feed Forum "Feeding for Profit" will be in English and free to visitors. It is intended for international and French businesses interested in exporting.
Practical realities associated with micro pellet production will be the topic of a talk by Dana Nelson, formerly an owner of Nelson & Son's, Inc. (SilverCup USA), at Aquafeed Horizons conference, taking place in Cologne, Germany June 12.
The World Fish-run Africa Aquaculture Research and Training Center offers two fish nutrition courses. Fish nutrition and feed preparation and Fish nutrition (fish feeds and feeding strategies) will be held at the center on November 5 and December 5, respectively.
