Aller Aqua Research Manager Dr. Florian Nagel recently gave a presentation at the 5th Swiss Fish Forum, held at the IUNR (Institute for Ecology and Natural Resources) in Lindau, Switzerland.

The topic for the presentation was the challenges facing R&D when developing and delivering optimal fish feed to diverse markets. In the presentation, Dr. Nagel further outlined the fast growth Aller Aqua is experiencing, and pinpointing the company’s key markets in Europe, Asia and Africa.

Aller Aqua German Sales Consultant Christian Pflanzer also took part. Their focus in Switzerland is predominantly on trout, perch and pike perch, produced in recirculation aquaculture systems.

Approximately 150 specialists, such as university representatives, authorities, scientists, farmers, RAS manufacturers and other experts, participated in the forum. The program included topics such as fish feed, organic feed, fish disease, RAS and environmental conditions.
