Aquafeed Extrusion Technology Course back in Europe

The Aquafeed Extrusion Technology Course is running from 15 to 17 April at FôrTek (Centre for Feed Technology) in As, Norway. There is also a Food and Feed Drying Program the previous week on April 11 and 12.

The Aquafeed Extrusion Technology Course is running from 15 to 17 April at FôrTek (Centre for Feed Technology) in As, Norway. There is also a Food and Feed Drying Program the previous week on April 11 and 12.

The extrusion program is relevant to both single- and twin-screw extruders. Sessions cover the design of extrusion processes, and how the formulation affects the extrusion process, with examples demonstrating application of the theory. Principles learned will be applied during the practical demonstration in the FôrTek pilot plant. The courses are organized and presented by Australians Dennis Forte and Gordon Young with strong practical experience.

More courses will be running later this year in Chile.

Aquafeed Extrusion Technology short course (South America) from November 4 to 6 in Temuco, Chile. This 3-day course covers the principles of extrusion, the design of extrusion processes, and how the formulation affects the extrusion process and aquafeed characteristics. Principles learned will be demonstrated using the extruder in the Centre for Feed Technology pilot plant. Presented in English with simultaneous translation into Spanish.

Food & Feed Drying Technology short course (South America) from November 7 to 8 in Temuco, Chile. This short course in Drying Technology combines the practical perspective of experienced industry professionals with the in-depth technical knowledge of drying processes. This course is about understanding drying technology, and how to use that understanding to improve current processes, or design/select new systems that are both effective and efficient. Presented in English with simultaneous translation into Spanish.
