Aquatic Asia 2011, March 9 to March 11 2011, Bangkok, Thailand
Aquatic Asia 2011 is organised by N.C.C. Exhibition Organizer (NEO), Thailand, and VNU Exhibitions Europe, the Netherlands and colocated with VIV Asia 2011. The concept of Aquatic Asia involves the related activities of mariculture and capture-based aquaculture. Visitors who register to attend one of the trade fairs can also visit the other trade event.
During Aquatic Asia 2011 the entire range of aquaculture will be brought together at a dedicated exhibition for the complete production column from feed to fish. This brand new event for the Asian aquaculture industries includes research & development, production, packaging and marketing of four main categories for aquaculture, fish, molluscs, crustaceans and algae.
Aquatic Asia originated from Aqua VIV Asia during VIV Asia 2009. At this edition of the VIV 13.5% of the visitors were specialized in aquaculture. This amounts to 3,000 professionals, including the top of the major integrators. Two years ago, the aqua segment at VIV Asia numbered a handful of dedicated exhibitors. The organizers say this offering has been expanded in 2011.
With two months still to go, 25 suppliers of feed, animal health, feed ingredients and additives have already booked stand space and covers an area of almost 400m², double that of the previous edition.
