AquaVision, one of the premiere conferences for the aquaculture industry, has just announced its draft programme. The event takes place from 13 -15 June 2016.

The theme for AquaVision 2016 is ‘Meeting tomorrow today’, and the event will focus on the ‘blue revolution’ and ‘beyond tomorrow’.

Conference speakers include a range of experts and top leaders, academics and industry representatives.

Professor Louise O Fresco from Wageningen University will discuss the aquaculture industry’s role in the world’s food supply, Professor Ragnar Tveteraas, University of Stavanger, will look at cost development within the industry, global lesson and future prospects and Andrew Mallison, IFFO, will give an insight into the development of the fish oil and fish protein market in the years to come. More speakers will be announced soon.

AquaVision attracts a diverse range of stakeholders to Stavanger, Norway every two years and is organised by Skretting and its parent company Nutreco.
