Aviana Nigeria will host the \"Aviana Nigeria 2018 International Exhibition for Poultry, Dairy & Aquaculture\" at the International Conference Center in Ibadan, Nigeria on April 25-26, 2018.
More than 200 exhibitors from over 25 countries are expected to participate in the event.
Fish supplies over 50% of the total animal protein consumed in Nigeria, and the contribution of fisheries to the Nigerian economy is significant. In Nigeria, the annual fish demand in 2012 was 2.66 million metric tonnes, with supply being only 1.32 million metric tonnes. Out of this amount, local production was at 0.62 million metric tonnes, while 0.7 million metric tonnes were imported.
