Extrusion Technology in the Food Industry Workshop will take place at the Bühler Food Innovation Center, Plymouth, MN, U.S., April 23-25. It is oriented at practical work and utilizes Bühler’s twin screw extrusion technology.
The following subjects are covered:
- Basics of extrusion technology.
- Theoretical and practical aspects of extrusion parameters.
- Application of extrusion technology in the food industry: Modified Flours/ Ingredients Breadcrumbs, flatbread, croutons RTE cereals & flakes
- Plant-based meat alternatives/ texturized vegetable proteins
- Other topics may be covered upon request.
This workshop is intended for operation supervisors, engineering or R&D personnel, etc. i.e. individuals who are actively involved in technological aspects and feasibility considerations of extrusion.
