The International Symposium on Aquaculture Nutrition (SINA) has been held regularly since 1993 on a biannual basis at different venues in Mexico. The SINA aims to discuss on the nutrition of relevant organisms for aquaculture in Latin America. It brings together researchers, students, manufacturers and representatives from the industry in order to show research studies and technological innovations. Keynote speakers from countries such as Canada, United States, Mexico, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, France, England, Germany and Japan will participate in the symposium.
Interested parties are invited to submit posters related to aquaculture and aquaculture nutrition on the following topics:
- Digestibility and evaluation of ingredients and aquafeed
- Nutritional requirements and nutrition of aquatic organisms in their different development stages
- Metabolism and nutritional physiology of aquatic organisms
- Live feed for aquaculture
- Nutrition and feeding of new species for aquaculture
- Process and quality control of aquaculture products
- Alternatives in food handling and food strategies
- Food for a sustainable aquaculture
- Alternative proteins for aquafeed
- Additives, attractants and immunostimulants
- Standardization of chemical and biological analysis for the evaluation of ingredients and aquafeed
- Nutrigenomics
