Medellín, Colombia will be the headquarters of the Congress on Aquaculture in Latin America Innovation and Sustainability for Global Aquaculture, which will include LACQUA 2024, the VIII Latin American Conference on Native Fish Culture and the XI Colombian Aquaculture Congress, from September 24-27, 2024 at the Plaza Mayor Convention Center.
The event is the result of collaboration between entities such as WAS-LACC, the Latin American Association on Native Fish Farming, the Colombian Academic Association of Aquaculture, the CES University, the University of Antioquia and Fedeacua.
The congress will bring together experts on topics of global relevance, addressing the development, sustainability and growth of aquaculture in Latin America and the Caribbean. Participants will have the opportunity to send summaries of their most recent research and work to present orally or in poster format throughout the three days of the event and the pre-and post-congress courses. In addition, it will feature the largest aquaculture trade fair in Colombia.
Deadline for abstract submission is March 31, 2024.
