The Eighth Symposium on Diseases in Asian Aquaculture will be held in Mangalore, India 21-25 November 2011. The symposium is being organised by the Fish Health Section of the Asian Fisheries Society and College of Fisheries, Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University, Mangalore. The theme of the symposium is Fish health for food Security.
In a series of scientific sessions across four days, internationally recognised keynote speakers will examine the current trends in aquatic disease in Asian and global aquaculture, disease loss, emerging diseases/area in health management, training and HRD issues.
A wide choice of technical and cultural tours will also be available.
