Enjoy Southern Hospitality at the Equipment Manufacturers Conference

The American Feed Industry Association’s Equipment Manufacturers Committee will host the 2008 Equipment Manufacturers Conference November 6-8, 2008, in Savannah, Ga. This event at the Hyatt Regency has been created to cultivate a top-notch educational experience and exchange of ideas by leading feed industry manufacturers. AFIA and Savannah welcome participants with true Southern hospitality. Savannah is where you'll find amazing architecture, spooky cemeteries and rich history—along with global sophistication, funky nightlife and fabulous food.

This year the conference will focus on “Embracing the Flat World.” Join your industry peers for this year’s speakers including:
• Michael Johll, The Johll Consulting Group
• Keith Behnke, Kansas State University
• Joel Newman, American Feed Industry Association
• Don Root, CPM
• Rick Held, Held & Associates Inc.
• Rick Jones, Foreign Exchange for US Bank in Cincinnati

To register for this event, please click here. The registration cut-off date is October 24, 2008. For hotel reservations, please call (800) 233-1234 and mention the American Feed Industry Association for a special room rate of $180 for single or double occupancy per night. The cut-off date for making discounted room reservations is Oct. 5, 2008. After this date, AFIA’s room block will be released and reservations (if rooms are available) will be at higher rates.

Along with all that Savannah has to offer, don’t forget attendees will have the opportunity to network and show off their golf skills in the annual EMC four-person scramble golf tournament. To participate don’t forget to check off “golfing fee” on your registration form. It is a guaranteed hole in one for fun.
