In 2015, the FEFAC Soy Sourcing Guidelines were published and since then have become a key reference for responsible soy sourcing in the feed market with 19 responsible soy programs having applied and passed the benchmarking exercise executed by the International Trade Center. Following stakeholder consultation and interaction, FEFAC is now in the final stage of upgrading the guidelines to allow FEFAC members and feed chain partners to respond to evolving market and political expectations, in particular in the field of the sourcing of “conversion-free soy”. The FEFAC Soy Sourcing Guidelines 2021 are the key commitment of the ambition to Promote Responsible Sourcing Practices under the FEFAC Feed Sustainability Charter 2030 released in September 2020.

Join the launch event of the FEFAC Soy Sourcing Guidelines 2021 on February 3, 2021, where the new features and functionalities will be presented. The event also gives an opportunity to debate with some key stakeholders on how soy supply chain solutions can be found to facilitate the de-linking of soy imports from the conversion of natural eco-systems. A registration link will soon be made public.
