Following its successful China workshops in 2024 and 2023, IFFO will convene stakeholders interested in the marine ingredients value chain to a China Summit in Foshan City, Guangdong Province, from June 19-20, 2025.
“Asia plays a pivotal role in global aquaculture, with China being a major contributor to the sector. Feed ingredients are a key component, and Asian countries account for one-third of the world’s production of fishmeal and fish oil. In this context, examining the marine ingredients sector from a Chinese perspective is essential to navigating a complex landscape and staying ahead of emerging trends,” Petter M. Johannessen, IFFO's director general, explained.
The China summit will address the supply and demand of marine ingredients globally, as well as in Peru, Chile, Thailand, USA and China. China’s booming fish oil market will be covered as well as the global omega-3 market.
This year’s China summit includes a 90-minute workshop, in partnership with GOED, the Global Organisation for EPA and DHA Omega-3s. This workshop, focusing on omega-3s in human nutrition, its benefits, challenges and consumer trends, is free to all the registered IFFO China Summit delegates.
An AI-powered simultaneous interpretation software will be used, which supports over 60 languages, including English, Chinese, Spanish, etc.
