IFFO - The Marine Ingredients Organization will jointly hold a free China Technical Webinar on December 2, 2020 with MarinTrust, the leading independent business to business certification program for the marine ingredient value chain. It will consist of three online sessions in both English and Chinese, starting at 3 pm Beijing time.

The webinar will feature a panel discussion on the integrity and sustainability of the marine ingredients supply chain, as well as presentations from leading scientists and representatives of both the fishmeal and the aquaculture industry, covering market trends, technical and regulatory updates and benefits that certification programs bring to the value chain.

“Safety and sustainability are at the heart of the global food system. With fishmeal and fish oil supplying essential nutrition in feed used for aquaculture as well as pork and chicken production globally, the marine ingredients industry has a strong foundation in implementing the process and the tools that ensure product integrity. Certification is critical to provide assurance that products are traced back to their origins,” said Maggie Xu, director of IFFO China.
