The Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) will host Immunonutrition in Aquaculture: From novel feeds to overall health course. The course will take place from June 18-25 at the Faculty of Biosciences, Norwegian University of Life Sciences in Ås, Norway, and from June 25-27, 2025 at a fish farm in the Bergen region. The course is for PhD students from Norway and abroad, and it is free of charge.
The course will discuss the following topics:
- Recirculating aquaculture system
- How do we feed fish to meet their protein needs?
- Feed formulation and production
- Experimental Design / Metadata
- Fish Immunology
- Microbiota characterization
The course will be taught in English. The organizers can provide accommodation in Ås for students from outside Norway who are accepted into the course.
