Skretting’s FISH Great Talks will start on April 22 bringing together interesting guests to address topics related to biotechnology, artificial intelligence, the development of science and digital transformation for the aquaculture industry.
This year, the initiative, which since its inception was supported by DSM, Hendrix Genetics and Scale AQ as sponsors, will offer five new events in which expert exhibitors from the different companies associated with the project will participate. The first will take place on April 22 at 11:30 am (UTC -4) and will feature Ronald Barlow, general manager of Skretting Chile and Joost Matthijssen, Venturing director of Nutreco, who will speak about the importance of the collaboration and support that the company provides to startups through NuFrontiers, the investment division of Nutreco. The talk, called Disruptive innovation and international collaboration, will share ideas on how to work with innovation to solve the challenges of aquaculture through an agile and disruptive perspective.

The new cycle of FISH Great Talks will be transmitted by streaming and will present a hybrid format, where the presenters will be linked from a live studio alonf with invited speakers from different parts of the world. The talks will be broadcast in an intermediate step between face-to-face and virtual.
