The Collective Knowledge Programme (CKP) offers two new e-learning modules on assessing and managing suppliers.

These modules provide essential knowledge and skills related to feed safety in an accessible way. Companies can use them as refresher courses for current staff, or as foundational training for new employees. The modules take around 30 minutes, are accessible anytime and anywhere, and include numerous practical examples.

Feed Safety: Supplier Assessment & Management

The e-learning modules Supplier assessment and management are aimed at professionals working in purchasing, quality and sales roles.

Module 1: Learn how to assess suppliers, covering key areas such as certification, insurance, location, product origin, expertise, legal requirements, and product risk profile.

Module 2: Learn how to manage contracted suppliers. Being critical of suppliers is essential to ensure the safety of end products in feed production.

These modules are now available on the GMP+ Academy.

These e-learning modules have been developed in collaboration with the CKP of the GMP+ Academy. Animal feed experts from major industry leaders AB Agri, De Heus, Trouw Nutrition and Nutrion International have combined their knowledge and experience to create and share essential information on supplier assessment and management with the world.

The GMP+ Academy was launched in July 2021 by GMP+ International in collaboration with leading international training institutes. The aim of the GMP+ Academy is to gather and share knowledge about feed safety and sustainability across the global feed chain. The platform also provides professionals within the chain an opportunity to connect with one another.
