Registration is now open for the American Feed Industry Association’s annual Equipment Manufacturers Conference (EMC), which will be held virtually on November 5, 2020, from 3-5 p.m. ET. Hosted by AFIA’s Equipment Manufacturers Committee, this conference focuses on updating the equipment sector of the feed industry on current issues and trends, providing an environment for learning from educational speakers and industry leaders.
“While we wish we could gather and see our equipment manufacturers in person, we are happy to offer our members a way to stay current on issues and trends relevant to their segment of the industry,” said Gary Huddleston, AFIA’s director of feed manufacturing and regulatory affairs.
Proceeds from the virtual event will go toward the Institute for Feed Education and Research’s EMC scholarship fund, a program designed to encourage college students to consider careers in the feed or grain sciences, which awards six annual $2,500 scholarships.
Virtual attendees will hear policy issues being discussed in Washington, D.C., an update on what’s happening with the International Organization for Standardization Technical Committee 293 and more.
Early-bird registration runs through October 11. Register and view more information here.
