As several events continue to be postponed, moved online, or canceled altogether as a result of COVID-19 concerns in the United States, Texas A&M University (TAMU) announced that its 6th Annual Practical Short Course on Extruded Pet Food and Treats will be held live online from July 12-15, 2021.
The four-day course will be presented at Texas A&M University LIVR online by staff, industry representatives and consultants. The program will cover information on material handling, preconditioning, extrusion of pet foods, extruded and non-extruded treats, raw material, extrusion hardware, automation, product analysis, meat handling in pet food, drying, cooling, and enrobing, food safety, pet food and treat shelf life, and troubleshooting.
