Registration is now open for the upcoming Purchasing and Ingredient Suppliers Conference (PISC), to be held March 13-15, 2018, in Fort Worth, Texas. Hosted by the American Feed Industry Association, the annual event attracts more than 600 feed ingredient buyers and sellers.
This year’s program will run Tuesday through Thursday and will include member favorites such as the golf tournament, sporting clays tournament, and receptions. Register by Jan. 15 to receive he early-bird rate of $669 for AFIA members and $2,150 for non-members. Members will receive a $100 discount for registering online.
AFIA will again offer its “Buyers to PISC” program at the 2018 conference, which provides scholarships to buyers who are attending the conference for the first time. The Suppliers Showcase will also return for the third time and will be more prominently placed in the networking area than in previous years. There will also be a limited number of private meeting rooms available to members on a first come, first served basis. PISC registration is under a new format this year, with an improved event website and enhanced informational features. The change is intended to simplify and streamline the registration process for AFIA members.
