Registration opens for 34th Annual Practical Short Course on Feeds, Pet Food and Aqua Feed Extrusion

The course will be presented from February 3-7, 2025, at Texas A&M University in person and live online via Zoom by staff, industry representatives, and consultants.

The one-week Practical Short Course on Feeds, Pet Food and Aqua Feed Extrusion will be presented from February 3-7, 2025, at Texas A&M University in person and live online via Zoom by staff, industry representatives, and consultants.

The program will cover information on different extrusion systems such as dry extruders, single and twin-screw extruders, designing new feed mills and selecting conveying, drying, grinding, conditioning and feed mixing equipment.

The course will review current practices for the production of pet foods, aquafeed and full-fat soy meal, recycling byproducts, aquafeed nutrition principles, spraying and coating systems, digests and preservatives, the use of encapsulated ingredients and the preparation of premixes.
