Puerto Varas, Chile will host an international seminar, Chilean Salmon: From Patagonia to the table, organized by Alltech and sponsored by CORFO, SalmonChile and ProChile on Wednesday November 25, 2015, from 1500 – 1700 at the Hotel Cumbres.in Puerto Varas.
The seminar will feature a range of speakers from the salmon industry, followed by an open debate to enable delegates to exchange experiences, contribute ideas towards improving the Chilean salmon industry, and generate new marketing and communication strategies to consolidate this protein worldwide, whilst highlighting its multiple, nutritional benefits for human health.
Presentation topics include an overview of the challenges Chilean salmon farmers face, a review of the potential social impact of the collapse of farmed salmon in Chile, and a look at what the consumer wants.
