The Global Aquaculture Alliance is holding a special event titled \"Celebrating Leadership in Vietnam\'s Aquaculture Industry,\" to be held concurrently with the Global Aquaculture Alliance\'s GOAL 2014 conference. This event is free of charge and open to all interested stakeholders.
The three-hour program is devoted to celebrating the achievements of leaders in Vietnam\'s aquaculture industry and building awareness of the need to improve responsible aquaculture practices to facilitate market access for small- and medium-scale Pangasius and shrimp farmers. Speakers include representatives from the Vietnam Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Minh Phu AquaMekong ShrimpVet Laboratory, ICAFIS, GIZ, IDH, WWF Vietnam, Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP), Vietnam Pangasius Association (VPA), a panel of leading global retailers and GAA.
\"Celebrating Leadership In Vietnam\'s Aquaculture Industry\" will take place at the Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam - Thursday, Oct. 9, 2-5 p.m.
