The interaction of processing and ingredients is crucial in all feed production: but in fish feed there is even more opportunity for disaster! This is because of the sensitivity of fish and the huge variety of species with their specific nutritional requirements and physical pellet requirements.

New ingredients, such as algae and alternative grain products as well as functional additives, are increasingly finding their way into aquafeed formulations. Do we know what happens to them during production?

Knowing how the process affects the nutritional and physical properties of a formulation - and how the ingredients in the formulation affect the process - must be well understood by both processors and formulators and this will be a core topic of this year\'s Aquafeed Horizons Conference.

An international line-up of acclaimed experts from the applied research and industry sectors will once again bring the latest advances in aquafeeds to the 8th Aquafeed.com conference, taking place along-side the world\'s largest feed industry trade show: Victam International, in Cologne Germany, June 9, 2015.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
The conference is geared towards commercial aquafeed producers but Aquafeed Horizons is also an essential meeting for any feed manufacturer considering making aquatic feeds or for equipment and ingredient suppliers looking to further their understanding of this segment of the feed market.

Less than a month to register!
