The American Feed Industry Association and Kansas State University seek nominations for the AFIA-KSU Feed Manufacturing Lifetime Achievement Award. The award recognizes and honors U.S. feed industry retirees--or those no longer serving the industry or allied industries--who have made a significant contribution to animal feed in the U.S. throughout the length of their careers.

AFIA will accept nominations through July 8. Nomination categories include business, science and technology.

Only 19 individuals have received the feed manufacturing lifetime achievement award since its establishment in 1995. Eugene Wagester is the 2016 recipient.
