The Blue Bio Value accelerator program, promoted by the Oceano Azul Foundation and Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, seeks solutions in the marine bioresources value chain that can scale-up to market applications in different industries, including aquaculture, and help tackle global societal challenges.
Committed to accelerate the transition to a global and sustainable blue bioeconomy, the program will help entrepreneurs in creating commercially viable and sustainable businesses. Located in Portugal, the program is seeking applications from across the globe to join them in the mission to accelerate the transition to a global and sustainable blue bioeconomy while promoting a productive and healthy ocean. Startups at prototype or launch stages or above, TRL 5-7, SMEs aiming to develop a new product line, and/or teams with projects that can demonstrate high potential to rapidly scale up to viable market applications are invited to apply. Applications close June 21, 2019.
A team of at least two and a maximum of four people must be ready to move to Portugal for 5 weeks with full dedication and commitment to the bootcamps, deliverables, mentorship sessions, events and fieldtrips.
