AUSTRALIA - Skretting launches new grower feed
Skretting Australia has launched a new grower feed, Optiline Premium, based on metabolic activators that increase the Atlantic salmon\'s utilization of digestible energy.
Based on trials conducted by Skretting ARC that repeatedly demonstrated the benefits of Optiline Premium, Skretting undertook a replicated trial in groups of salmon in South East Tasmania in the winter of 2012. Over the four month period, salmon fed Optiline Premium had a 14% increase in growth rate and a 13% improvement in FCR compared to our standard winter feed.
