Bob Rosenberry, the man behind Shrimp News International, announced his retirement on Monday, May 21, 2012, with immediate effect.

Bob, now 74, has been supplying news and information to the shrimp farming sector for 35 years.  From 1976 to 2012, Bob published over 10,000 news reports and articles on shrimp, prawn, lobster and crab farming .He tried to retire a year ago - but couldn't quite do it. This time, though, he says he means it. 

Consequently, there will be no more Free News reports or Free Price reports, although he said he willo keep the long background reports on shrimp farming available on his webpage and plans to add to them intermittently.  He has removed the registration requirement from the webpage, so anyone can access the background information for free at http://www.shrimpnews.com.

As publishers, we know how much he put in to delivering timely and relevant information. The shrimp industry owes him a debt of gratitude, and we wish him a long, happy and well deserved retirement.
