Chinese freshwater tilapia experts have visited Brazil to share expertise and advise their Brazilian counterparts, in a trip supported by Brazil\'s ministry of commerce and industry and China\'s state fisheries administration,. 

The Chinese delegation -- led by Wan Yibing, deputy director at the Wuxi-based Freshwater Fisheries Research Center -- visited aquaculture farms near the cities of Brasilia and Manaus, as well as a tilapia seedling center run by tilapia firm BRUNO and FABNCA carp facilities. 

Wan and his delegation focused their research and technical guidance in breeding technology, seed production, feed management, among other areas of tilapia farming.
