Cargill launched a new web platform, MyEWOS (www.ewos.com), to bring aquaculture producers the latest news, product information and events. The website features an intuitive and friendly structure where aqua farmers can find up-to-date information that highlights the products, services, events, campaigns and news related to the company.
“We know how important connection through virtual platforms is for our customers today,” said Paula Carvajal, communications and marketing lead for Cargill in Chile. “The launch of this refreshed website is part of the evolution of the way to connect.” Customers of Cargill will also use the site to access the different digital tools and data analysis services that the company offers via a secure log-in system.
Information about Cargill’s latest initiative, SeaFurther™ Sustainability, can also be found on the site. The program will help aqua farmers raise more sustainable seafood with less environmental impact. It is part of the company’s overall carbon commitment, with a science-based scope 3 target to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 30% per ton of food by 2030. SeaFurther alone will help save two billion kilograms of CO2 by 2030, which is the equivalent of removing more than 400,000 cars from the road.
“We’re excited to offer our customers and aquaculture producers a platform that highlights our focus on research, nutrition and innovation and the tools to help farmers grow the supply of healthy fish and seafood,” said Carvajal.
