Netherlands-based animal feed miller, De Heus, has entered the aquafeed sector with the acquisition of a feedmill in Vietnam.
Allaboutfeed website reports that the 100,000 tons a year production facility in Hoa Phu Industrial Zone, Long Ho Commune, Vinh Long Province, is the fourth mill the company has bought in the country.
De Heus produces 3.0 million tonnes in 30 feed mills located in 8 countries on three continents. De Heus products are exported to more than 45 countries worldwide. The company reportedly employs more than 1.700 people worldwide.
