Dibaq Group, a Spanish player in animal health and nutrition, is the first company in continental Europe to attain Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) certification for one of its feed mills.
Located in Fuentepelayo, Spain, the newly BAP-certified facility manufactures aquafeeds for a variety of species, including salmon, sturgeon, trout, seabream, seabass, barramundi, sole, turbot, seriola, eel, olive flounder, tilapia, catfish and shrimp, as well as pet food in separate facilities.
Dibaq has been involved in the aquaculture and fish nutrition business since 1986 and is a market leader thanks to its commitment to quality, research and innovation. Today, with a total manufacturing capacity of 120,000 metric tons per year, Dibaq sells its high-quality products in more than 40 countries on four continents. Dibaq is a family-owned company that is run by second and third generation members of the same family. It was founded in the 1950s by José Luis Tejedor and Ana Lázaro.
