Zeigler Bros., Inc. announced that Dr. Scott Snyder has been hired as Nutritional Technology Manager.

In his role, Scott will provide nutritional and technical support for domestic aquaculture production and customers as well as international licensees. Scott is no stranger to Zeigler, as a former employee whom has stayed in the industry to further his carrier in aquaculture. His knowledge and understanding of the company and the culture will provide great leadership and continued excellence for the company’s growth.

Dr. Scott Snyder obtained his Ph.D. in Animal Physiology from the University of Idaho. Scott has over 20 years of industry experience; prior to earning his graduate degree Scott spent nearly a decade managing one of the largest channel catfish farms in Arkansas, developing valuable operational experience. Following this time Scott spent 11 years as an agricultural scientist for the federal government.

In the last 5 years, Scott’s research has focused on the development of sustainable feeds for salmonids and improved nutrient availability for shrimp feeds.
