Final Call for Submissions for IFOAM Conference on Organic Aquaculture
The deadline for the submission of contributions is March 31, 2008 and the acceptance will be communicated by April 8.
The IFOAM Organic World Congress will take place in Modena, Italy, June 18-20, 2008. It includes a parallel conference on Organic Aquaculture in which key themes will be presented and discussed and includes organic aquafeeds - nutritional requirements, sources, sustainability, local versus imported origin, alternative feeds.
Besides the Scientific Conference, which is the main event, a BIOLFISH Exhibition is planned with numerous workshops, meetings and cultural events.
Submission of contributions
In order to have rich, diverse and effective participation, everybody who is engaged in organic aquaculture, who cultivates the future and is willing to contribute with her/his work to the conference, is invited to submit an abstract (oral presentation or poster).

The contribution should consist of a short paper of 4 pages (max 2500 words) including: introduction, methods,
results, conclusion and bibliography. Contributions must be written in English.

Contributions will be evaluated through a peer review system, by the Steering Committee of the Conference and by
other relevant scientists and experts. The deadline for the submission of contributes is March 31 and the acceptance will be communicated within April 8.
