He also received special recognition from Scott Landsburgh of the Scottish Salmon Producers’ Organisation (SPPO) who paid tribute to his many years’ service to aquaculture.
The biannual Marine Aquaculture Awards celebrate the achievements of the Scottish aquaculture sector and are sponsored by the Crown Estate, who are currently the marine landlords in Scotland.
Mace was presented with his award by Aileen McLeod, MSP, minister for the environment, who was the keynote speaker.
