New aquaculture network for Asia established

Asian Aquaculture Network (AAN), a regional professional network in aquaculture has been established with its primary focus on promoting sustainable development and practices of aquaculture in Asia. AAN aims to help aquaculturists and farmers operate a profitable and environmentally sound business in order to sustainably feed the world affordable products at high quality. To achieve such goal, they are creating and facilitating networking, technology transfer, information exchange and collaboration among their members and connecting them into a regional professional aquaculture industry network.

AAN pprovides update information and emerging news about aquaculture through its quarterly magazines and emails. The supplier directory is also published on a yearly basis with the free online version for  members. Furthermore, they plan to hold annual conferences and seminars on various subjects related to practical aquaculture operations and techniques.
