The partnership between Vitapro, through its Nicovita brand, and Texcumar, with its Acuatecsa laboratory, strengthens both companies' strategy to optimize the early stages of shrimp farming in Ecuador, a critical phase to ensure a successful harvest. In addition to this strengthening, the agreement focuses on developing specialized feeding protocols in the lab that will later improve the survival and growth of larvae during pre-nursery and post-transfer stages, laying the foundation for more efficient, profitable, and sustainable farming.

This agreement between Vitapro/Nicovita and Acuatecsa of Texcumar marks the beginning of Nicovita’s comprehensive proposal designed to support shrimp producers in tackling critical challenges in the early stages of farming. As part of this alliance, Nicovita also plans to distribute larvae, integrated into its early feeding system, to its clients.
