Ocean Nutrition sold to Great Salt Lake Artemia

Torqx acquired a majority stake in Ocean Nutrition in 2022 and has now sold it to Great Salt Lake Artemia.

Torqx Capital Partners recently sold its majority stake in Ocean Nutrition Europe and Marine Nutrition Thailand to Great Salt Lake Artemia (GSLA), an Artemia harvesting, processing, and ecology, with a strong focus on scientific innovation and environmental stewardship.

Ocean Nutrition, headquartered in Essen, Belgium, is a provider of premium nutrition solutions for the ornamental fish and aquaculture industries. With its own production facility in Thailand, the company serves a global customer base.

Erik Van den Brande and Ward Brijs, co-founders and co-shareholders of Ocean Nutrition, will continue to lead the company, ensuring continuity and a sustained focus on innovation and customer service.

Torqx acquired a majority stake in Ocean Nutrition in 2022. “Torqx is proud to have supported Ocean Nutrition in its development over the past years.
