The latest news from the SEAFARE project, which aims to help to achieve sustainable and environmentally-friendly aquaculture, is now available in the April 2013 issue of SEAFARE Project News.  

SEAFARE is an Atlantic Area Transnational Program project which aims to promote the diversification of the aquaculture industry by providing a greater range of species and alternative environmentally-friendly production systems. All the initiatives developed by the project are assessed for their commercial applicability through close collaboration with stakeholders and SMEs. 

This issue of SEAFARE Project News features an Interview with SEAFARE coordinator Daniel Lee; a summary of important decisions from the sixth SEAFARE group meeting in Dublin; information about the SEAFARE workshop on the future of European Smelt; and an outline of the key objectives of the SEAFARE project.
