Tietjen has celebrated its 60th anniversary. Nearly one hundred old and new colleagues, their families and other guests attended the celebrations. A raffle, sponsored by suppliers and customers went to the benefit of the Children`s Hospice “Kinderhospiz Löwenherz“ which Tietjen has been supporting for several years. The children and teenager hospice in Syke near Bremen, takes care of the well-being children and teenagers with life-shortening illnesses. In addition, the association offers three outpatient children hospice services and trains volunteers in cooperation with 24 hospice associations.
Tietjen Verfahrenstechnik GmbH, a medium-sized company in the mechanical and plant engineering sector, has been building hammer mills and individual grinding technology since 1959. Customers use these systems for dry and wet milling in the feed sector, for pet food and fish feed, as well as for biogas plants, or in recycling. In the last 60 years since the company was founded, more than 2,000 systems have been delivered worldwide.
